A Silpat Silicone Baking Mat is a life changer when it comes to baking cookies. I received one as a Christmas gift years ago and I cannot see myself baking cookies without one ever again. The bottom of the cookies bake perfectly and you never have to worry about the cookies sticking to the cookie sheet or breaking apart when you try to remove them.
Last but not least, decorate your cookies! A little icing and some sprinkles goes a long way in making regular cookies into something festive and special for the holiday.
