What do you think about fashion trends? Love em or hate em? I can go both ways depending on the trend. One trend I was a bit hesitant about but eventually jumped on is embellished denim. We saw embellished denim in the early 2000’s and it has come back in 2022 and I do not think it is going anywhere in 2023. From rhinestones to pearls, beads, and embroidery we are seeing a ton of different denim styles both on the runways and on the streets.
The best part about embellished denim is that it makes a statement. It takes a normal piece of denim and takes it up a notch. Make a basic outfit a little bit extra with some pearls or rhinestones. Here are some embellished denim pieces I have been loving.
Embellished Denim
This first pair of jeans is the perfect silhouette. I love the pearl details down the legs and around the waistband are so chic and beautiful. I love this pair worn with a basic white bodysuit. While some of the runways paired embellished tops with embellished bottoms, I prefer an embellished jean paired with embellished bottoms for an everyday casual look.
This denim jacket is so pretty. I love the pearl details. If you have followed me for a bit, you know how much and how often I wear a denim jacket. This jacket pairs well with the previous pair of jeans but I don’t love a denim on denim look. So, I paired it with one of my favorite things to wear, a faux leather legging. This is a great casual look and one I love.
This next pair of denim is a relaxed fit and is a bit on the longer side. I am 5’5″ for height reference. I love this pair worn with sneakers and this button down works perfectly with it. Do not overthink your look when wearing embellished denim. Pair a great basic with the embellished piece and let the embellishment do the talking.
Here is another super cute denim jacket. This one is a little more fashion forward and has an ombre dye as well as a distressed back.
