One of the biggest trends of the fall and winter is leather. Everywhere I look I am seeing it. Leather pants, leather coats and most recently leather skirts. When I first saw the leather skirt trend, I have to admit, I was a little intimidated. Now that I tried a few and found one I love I can honestly say I stand behind this new trend. Most importantly, you can style a leather skirt so many different ways, for day or night. Here are a few of my favorites.
One of the easiest outfits to put together is a leather skirt with a solid color long sleeve shirt or bodysuit. I love this affordable one. Throw on some over the knee boots and out you go.
In similar fasion, another easy way to style your skirt is by pairing it with a sweater. A cowl or crew neck sweater both look great. A front tuck is always a good idea. I love the over the knee boots, but booties would also look great.
Dress up your leather skirt by pairing it with a button down. I love this patterned one, but a black or white solid color button down would also look great.
Layers in the winter… always a good idea! Keeps you warm and elevates your style. It is even easier to layer and look put together if you stick to neutral colors. Black, white and tans all pair well together. A blazer is perfect for day or night and a shacket will keep you warm and look cute.
