Fall is easily one of my favorite seasons to dress for. I love a cardigan and I love a cute jacket. I think it completes a look and there are so many ways to incorporate cardigans and jackets into your wardrobe. When buying cardigans or jackets sticking to a neutral color tans, black, gray and creams gives you the most versatility.
I recently found this cardigan coat at Target and I absolutely love it. It is a great length to pair with leggings. This cardigan is super soft, almost a sweatshirt material and can easily be dressed up or down. This cardigan coat can be worn with just about anything. Here are a few ways I styled it for fall.
Comfy & Casual
First, we are going to start with the most casual look. The best part about this jacket in my opinion is that it is legging friendly and looks so cute dressed down with leggings and a pair of sneakers. I have loved this affordable pair of faux leather leggings for two years now and these sneakers are so comfortable.
Next up, I had to pair this jacket with my favorite joggers, also from Target. Throw on a cute pair of mules and you have a comfy outfit that you could also wear out or to work. Check out a few ways to style joggers here.
Casual Vibes
A classic combo!! Give me a white tee with a pair of denim and a cute jacket any day. These mules have been my most worn shoes for the past three years and while this exact pair is not available, Nordstrom just came out with this pair that is very similar.
For another casual look, pair the jacket with some distressed jeans and some chunky boots. This boot from Nordstrom is my absolute favorite, super comfy and also waterproof. I have also been grabbing this striped long sleeve tee so often for styling my fall outfits. It is nice and soft and under $15.
Take your basic tee up a notch and switch it out for a button down. Throw on a cute pair of shoes and out the door you go.
Now, let’s switch out the white top for a black tee or bodysuit. Change your blue denim to a black or gray pair like these Levi’s rib cage flares and add a boot for an easy elevated casual look.
